Nerd Alert provides people and businesses with an easy and trusted way to get tech support, setup, training and repair right to your door from helpful Nerds in your own community. If you need something done or want some helpful pointers, we’ll connect you with a Certified Nerd who can do it.
We currently offer Nerds in the following categories:
- Tech Help, Setup, Troubleshooting &Training for: iPhone, Android, iPad, Kindle, Tablets, Mac & Windows Computers, Social Media, QuickBooks, Quicken and miscellaneous Software, Voice Assistants (Alexa, Google Home, Apple Homepod), Smart Cars& Bluetooth (Tesla, Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, and more) Printers & Scanners, Home Wi-Fi, Apple & Other Smart Watches, Ring Doorbell, Smart Locks, and so much more.
- Computer Repair: Mac & PC Computer Diagnosis, Virus &, Malware, Spyware Removal, Data Transfer, Data Recovery, Computer Scam Help, Operating System Upgrades and Software Updates.
This means you can use Nerd Alert for help with anything from setting up your Wi-Fi so you can surf the web from anywhere to teaching you how to use certain apps/programs to make your connections with family, friends and business partners all the easier.
We also do the nasty stuff like removing viruses from your computer so it doesn’t slow to a snail’s pace.

Who are the Nerds?
We select Nerds after they apply online, go through compatibility screening, undergo a federal background test and then pass our specific skill and technical testing and requirements for the services which they want to perform.
The Nerds in our community include college students, young professionals, stay-at-home parents, retirees and anyone else who wants to help their neighbors while earning some extra money. We’re proud that the Nerds represent a broad slice of the community.
What are your business hours?
Our office hours are Monday – Friday, from 9am-6pm. As of now, we are closed on the weekend. During business hours, we are always available to take your calls. Just call us at 561-300-6763.
We always have agents available, but If we miss your call due to please leave a message with your name, best call back number and time, email and a description of how we can help you and we promise we’ll call you back as soon as possible.

How much does it cost for a Nerd to come assist me?
All services performed by Nerd Alert are $80 per hour. For Businesses, our hourly rate is $120 per hour.
With custom jobs or projects, or depending on the work for homes or businesses, we can provide an overall quote is the job will be more than 10 hours.
How does payment work?
All appointments are paid for by credit card and made directly to Nerd Alert. During booking, our agents will get a credit card to book and confirm your appointment. You will not be charged until after the appointment is completed and you approve and sign off on the Nerd’s device.
