If you are an existing customer, we recommend you buy a Prime gift membership and cancel the existing subscription one day before your renewal. Then, redeem the Prime gift membership for your account.

Visit https://www.amazon.com/giftprime and select the package you want to buy. We recommend buying a 12-month Prime pack to avoid the revised prices for a year. Click Add Prime to Cart. Open your cart and add your email address in the field of Recipient’s Email address and proceed to checkout.
Once paid, you will get the confirmation in the mail from Amazon Support Team.
If your renewal will take place after March 25, 2022, your auto-renewal will happen with the revised price i.e $139 a year or $14.99 a month.
To avoid this, cancel your subscription by visiting amazon.com/gp/primecentral Click ManageMembership, select EndMembership. They will ask for confirmation and then cancel your Amazon Prime Membership.
The final step! Once you cancel your membership, you have to redeem your Prime gift membership which you bought earlier.
Open the mail which you got from the Amazon team, it will have a gift code and other details. Follow the instructions mentioned in the mail and redeem the Prime gift membership.
Finally! Enjoy the Amazon Prime benefits for another year at the current price only.
Since the new price policy is already in effect from February 18, 2022, for the new customers. You have lost a chance to buy Amazon Prime at old prices through a 30-day trial period.
