Now that we’ve had some time to play around with the new iPhone 7, we wanted to share with you some of the best new features that we are loving!
Brighter display
This may not make much of a difference to everyday iPhone users, but it makes the world of difference for photographers and techno junkies. The new display is 25% brighter than the iPhone 6 and supports a wide range of richer, true-to-life colors.
A10 Fusion processor
The new A10 Fusion processor is about 40% faster than the processor that was used in the iPhone 6. It features two performance cores in order to make sure that the actions and operations you perform with the phone are so much smoother and faster. These high-efficiency cores aim to avoid lag at all costs.
Two new colors
There are two new colors that you can choose your iPhone 7 to come in. Alongside the standard colors of silver, gold, and rose gold, you can now buy the phone in matte ‘Black’ or in a glossy ‘Jet Black’.
Water resistant
The feature that probably makes the most difference is the fact that it is water and dust resistant. It will hold up to splashes and short periods in water, and it won’t gather dust as quickly.
New home button
The home button has been replaced with a touch-sensitive pad in order to eliminate unnecessary pressing of buttons.
Better battery life
Another feature that users have been looking forward to is the upgraded battery life of the iPhone 7. There is a 2-hour upgrade based on average cell phone use. Experts say it is the best iPhone battery ever created.
No headphone jack
As part of their quest to create a super slim smartphone, Apple removed the headphone jack and replaced the headphones with AirPods. These are completely wireless for easier use.
Better speakers
The new iPhone 7 comes complete with two sets of speakers – at the top and the bottom of the phone. It is perfect for crystal clear sound when playing music or watching clips on your smartphone.
Upgraded camera
The camera system has been completely overhauled and features a 12-megapixel camera with image stabilizing technology. It has also been adjusted to capture higher quality photos. There is a new dual camera, a 7 megapixel FaceTime camera and a new LED flash that is 50% brighter than ever before.
The iPhone 7 comes in a bigger range of sizes. Users can choose between 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB of storage for their new phones.
